Northern Lite Snowshoes are proudly made right here in the USA! A majority of other snowshoe on the market are made with foreign materials and labor. You can most likely guess where. This is one more important reason why we only stock Northern Lites.

Northern Lites Features:

• Ultra-light Weight Aluminum Framing
• Coolthane Decking is super tough, almost impossible to puncture
• Coolthane Decking is too slick for snow build-up
• "Duraluminum" Toe And Heel Crampons attack ice with authority and has greater strength and abrasion resistance than many titanium alloys!
• Nylon Deck Clips absorb tortuous underside wear without the the added weight of wrap-around or lacing attachment methods. Acting as perimeter cleats they provide Northern Lites with incredible traction even in the deepest snow.
• Heel Strike Plate positioned directly over the rear crampon, is heavily ridged for traction to keep the heel in place and the shoe straight-tracking on steep side hill traverses.

EXTREME SERIES

The Extreme Series is a technical line of snowshoes designed for the most demanding applications. Framing is spacecraft aluminum alloy 40% stronger than 6061, while decking is genuine CoolthaneTM (polyurethane coated nylon mesh) which is 250% tougher than hypalon. The Extreme Series includes the Elite, Backcountry, Backcountry Rescue and Tundra Snowshoes. The Rescue is indentical to the Backcountry but has international orange decking.

All Extreme Series snowshoes carry a limited lifetime warranty.

QUICKSILVER SERIES

The Quicksilver Series is a more casual line of snowshoes for less demanding applications. Framing is a 6000 series aluminum alloy, and decking is military grade polyurethane coated nylon mesh. Oversized mountaineering toe and heel crampons, and Northern Lites' highly acclaimed easy-to-use TruTrak bindings are identical to those on our Extreme Series models.

Quicksilver Series snowshoes carry a one-year warranty.
